What keeps us happy and healthy as we go through life? If your answer, even though it may not be something you say out loud, was fame and money, you’re not alone in your thoughts – but, according to psychiatrist Robert Waldinger, you’re mistaken. As the director of a 75 year study on adult development, Waldinger shares the data found on true happiness and satisfaction. In this TED talk, he discusses the three important lessons learned from the study as well as some practical, old-as-the-hills wisdom on how to build a fulfilling, long life. In a place like Los Angeles where it is so easy to get caught up in all the our “wants”, it’s important to stop and remember what really matters at the end of the day. We found this to be eye opening and we hope you do too. Cheers to happiness!
